Supervision for Registered Provisional Psychologists (AB)

Simply put, there is nothing that I love more than learning and supporting the learning and growth of others. When I began supervising Registered Provisional Psychologists back in the early 2000s, I knew that I had found part of my calling. I am excited to offer this opportunity to 1-2 people per year in my private practice.

I have training in Advanced Clinical Supervision and experience as a Clinical Supervisor and in the Supervision of Supervisors.  I am informed by a developmental approach in supporting the growth of supervisees.  My counselling approach is grounded in attachment theory, trauma informed practice and mindfulness approaches with training in Emotionally Focussed Therapy, EMDR and Grief Therapy. I have experience working with children, couples, families and individuals although in my current practice my focus is teens, adults and couples. As a former lawyer, I have a passion for ethics and ethical decision making.

The most important thing in this work, is the fit. If this opportunity is of interest, please reach out to me for a telephone consultation and more information about how to apply to work with me.  I am actively taking applications, however, all applicants must have their own employment/practice and caseload to ensure that their provisional hours can be attained. Fees for this service will be discussed at the time of the interview process.
